H10 Itaca, Barcelona

I stayed in a suite with a pool view for 1 night. Reception staff were very friendly and provided all the information I needed. The best service I have received when checking into a H10 hotel. As an H10 member I was given a voucher for a free cocktail. On arriving at my room, I was amazed at how nice it was. The living area, lots of wardrobe space, coffee machine, complimentary bottle of water, TV in the living area and bedroom and the biggest hotel bathroom I have seen with both a separate bath and shower. I loved it. I got changed after a long day travelling and went down to sit by the pool, which was very refreshing. I later went to the bar to redeem my free cocktail to be told of the limited selection. Whilst I appreciate that this is complimentary I was a bit disappointed with the choice. The bar man however was very good and provided great service. I was attending the Champions League womens semi final match and after checking out I left my luggage to collect later. I returned to the hotel and again the staff were all very friendly a nd professional. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel and was disappointed not to be staying longer.

Positives: The staff were very friendly and attentive, the rooms were very clean (with comfy beds) and the hotel also provided extras such as coffee pods, bottled water and bathroom amenities for free. There was a mini bar also in the fridge. The air condition worked very well and the water pressure/temperature was as you'd hope. Things that could have been better for our trip. The location is not central. The rooms could have been bigger too. (Though these things are quite clear when booking)

Stayed for one night. Easy check in. Staff friendly and helpful. Free juice on arrival. Rooms very nice - clean and spacious. Free coffee in room. WIFI good. Location: many bars and restaurants within walking distance and Barcelona Sants station is a 5 minute walk away.

We arrived at Barcelona airport late evening . Taxi from airport was around 50 euros. Had we realised how close to the Sants Station the Hotel is we may have taken the train . Pleasant hotel, not much of interest nearby so we took the hop on hop off tourist bus from Sants Station . Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold food. We didn’t try the restaurant, preferring to dine in the city. Rooms are clean, but small. Our room had just a bed and small cupboard with no hanging space long enough for dresses.there were no surfaces to put anything and no space to even lay our suitcases flat. For this reason I would not recommend for anything more than a brief stay.
